STEP 1 - Getting your password This is the first step, getting your user name (which is your email) and your password. Which you will select. You will do this at www.onjive.com/register. Your email MUST match the email you used on your application. |
|
STEP 2 - Using the system on the web This is the screen you were taken to after you registered your email and password. This is the log in screen. You can find it at www.my.jive.com. (You may want to bookmark the site.) Remember to be logged in or out using the "settings" tab at the lower left. (The little wheel.) |
|
STEP 3 - Using the system on a smart phone This is how to download and use the app on your smartphone. The app works the same in Android and the iPhone iOs platforms. Here again, remember to be logged in or out using the "settings" tab at the lower left. (The little wheel.) |

STEP 4 - Resources We have set resources for you to access. They are available at www.DialAPriest.com/prayers. But, of course, adapt as you see fit. |
Frequently Asked Questions
This is where we will post the questions you may have. You can send us a question HERE.
Q: What if I don't have a smart phone?
A: Unfortunately, no. Because the calls are routed to all of those on call at any moment, an external phone line would break the chain.
Q: How do I answer the call?
A: We suggest that you answer with your professional greeting. "Hello, this is Rev. Lebrija (or Fr. Lebrija, or Fr. Lorenzo)," for example.
Q: How do I know when I am scheduled or will this just be a rollover to the next available person? Are the time zones accounted for? (even though there is a need around the clock, I'd rather not get a call at 3 a.m. EST)
A: Great question. When calls come in they will be routed to the next volunteer who is logged in to the system. From the time availabilities that volunteers told us about, we’ll have pretty good coverage from 4am to midnight EST, seven days a week. And remember, as long as you are not logged in (or have Do Not Disturb on), you will not get any calls.
Q: Will these be video calls? (i.e. Do I need to wear a collar, or at least be dressed to be seen?)
A: These are only voice calls. You will not see the person or be seen.
Q: Do I need to do both the web and the phone app?
A: No, you do not. You will have to register your password via step one above, but you can opt out of step two and go right to step three.
